This week, I am thrilled to share the words of Elena Limoges. In her poem “Searching for Shalom,” Elena draws out the turbulence and the dryness that occurs when we look for peace in the wrong places. She captures feelings of distress, anxiety and shame. Through this site, it has been my mission to highlight the wonder-provoking beauty I see around me. However, there is another place of beauty I cannot capture with the lens. I know that within each of you there are beautiful words brewing but it takes a great deal of courage and encouragement to share those words with an audience. Took’s Landing is a space to share without fear.
